So it is official, the Seahawks have gone public with a statement saying that they have indeed released Shaun Alexander.
The rumor mill is already churning now that Alexander is on the market, supposedly New England and Indy are both interested in meeting with Shaun's agent. It will be interesting to see where he lands.
